From its genesis as a backing group for Marc Martinka’s solo project River Rat in 2015 to its established, self-assured present, Cisco Kid is excited to share their fresh, energetic twist on a classic roots-rock sound with the world. Fans of artists such as Elton John, Alabama Shakes, and The Buckle Downs will find plenty to love in Cisco Kid.
Core Members include Marc Martinka (percussion), Brian Swed (guitar), Marty Connolly (bass), and Addi Twigg (vocals). But the group’s sound wouldn’t be complete without special players like Rich Stanley (guitar, piano, organ), Read Connolly (steel guitar), James Hart (piano and organ), Randall Baumann (piano and organ), Guy Russo (piano and organ), and Markila Sherman & Rosanna Spindler (backing vocals). Cisco Kid embraces collaboration with artists who bring their own unique contribution to the mix, both live and in the studio.
